Choosing between the HD 12' and HD 10'6
The Bote HD 12' has more volume than the HD 10'6 making the 12' a more stable platform. We recommend the 12' if you weigh over 150lbs or prefer a more stable platform to either fish off or bring another person or dog on. The longer length makes this board track straighter and quicker through the water. The HD 12' weighs approximately 5-7lbs more than the HD 10'6, so if weight is a factor for you consider the 10'6.
The Bote HD 10'6 is more maneuverable than the HD 12' and tracks better than most other board in its class. If you're a woman or smaller paddler looking for a recreational board that handles a variety of conditions, tracks straight and is maneuverable on and off the water then the HD 10'6 is an excellent choice. The actual board weight is approximately 25lbs.
Both the HD 12' and HD 10'6 have the same options for accessories. Here's what's capable on these boards: Bote Stashpod, Bottle opener, Bucket Rac, Tackle Rac, TraveLink, Ergonomic Deckpad, Grab Handle, Bungee on front and rear
